Does Timmy make mistakes?
Yes, like any AI chatbot, Timmy can make mistakes. Timmy relies on OpenAI's Language Model for suggestions, but it's important to remember that these suggestions are not always accurate. It is your responsibility as a user to always double-check the information before acting on it to ensure its reliability.
How is my data used?
To generate personalized suggestions, your spending data is processed by OpenAI's Language Models. For added security, the data sent to OpenAI is minimized to include only essential details: transaction amount, merchant name, transaction date, and transaction location.
Is my data safe?
Your transaction data is received through Plaid, a third-party service that connects your bank account to the Timmy app. Learn more about how we use Plaid here.
